Matthew Plexman - Lifestyle PhotographyChristopher Gentile - Commercial Photography
The impact of shooting everything with Phase One medium format backs.
Matthew’s work is a mix of studio and location photography, focused on people and portraits for a variety of design and advertising firms. He's been shooting digitally since early in 2001 utilizing the Phase One system on various platforms. He finds the speed; level of control and quality have made the process fun and exciting, lending a more playful mood to his photography. His personal work utilizes all of the quality and detail inherent in his P65 back to produce very large format panoramic landscapes. Matthew has been working in the industry since 1980 when he graduated from the photography program at Ryerson University.

Why and how to work with Phase One & Profoto for Commercial photography.
Christopher was born and raised in the County, Christopher embarked on his career in the film industry over 30 years ago, first developing his craft as a commercial director before pursuing his photography business in recent years. He brings a keen eye, a creative soul and boundless enthusiasm to his work, preferring to take a hands-on approach to the profession. He doesn’t hesitate to get into all aspects of his shoots, including lighting design, cinematography, propping and more. Sure, that endless gusto he brings to every shoot may have been grounds for prescribing pharmaceuticals if he were born in a more recent generation, but far and away his colleagues find his energy delightfully infectious.
